   FONTS — self-hosted Poppins
   ------------------------------------------------------------
The brand type system is two faces:

Poppins display: the large, set-piece type
Helvetica Neue everything else: headings H2-H5, body,
                      labels, tables, controls

Helvetica Neue needs no @font-face. It ships with macOS and iOS,
and the --font-family stack in themes.css falls through to
Helvetica, then the platform UI face, on Windows and Linux.

Poppins is NOT a system font anywhere, so it is committed to the
repo and served from our own origin. It cannot come from Google
Fonts: the CSP in netlify.toml sets `font-src 'self' data:` and
`style-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline'`, so both the stylesheet and
the font file would be blocked. Self-hosting is also what keeps
the app free of a third-party request on every page load.

   WEIGHTS
600 (SemiBold) and 700 (Bold) only — between them they cover
every Poppins style in the guide that this app actually uses:
   H1, H4-DISPLAY, QUOTE-LG (600), and STAT, QUOTE-SM (700). The
guide's Poppins Light Italic and SemiBold Italic belong to
   marketing display styles (DISPLAY-MD-SUB, DISPLAY-MD-ITALIC)
that have no counterpart in a cost estimator, so they are not
shipped. Add them here if a surface ever needs them; don't
fake them with `font-style: italic`, which would synthesise a
slant rather than use the drawn italic.

Four files, ~27KB total: latin and latin-ext per weight, split
the way Google's own service splits them. The unicode-range on
each means a browser downloads latin-ext only if the page
actually uses a character from it, which for this app is
   almost never.

`font-display: swap` renders in Helvetica Neue immediately and
repaints when Poppins arrives. On a headline-only face that is
the right trade: the alternative, `block`, hides the page
heading for up to 3s on a slow connection.

Poppins is SIL Open Font License 1.1 — see fonts/OFL.txt. The
licence permits redistribution as part of a larger work; it
requires the copyright notice and licence to travel with the
font files, which is why OFL.txt sits beside them.
